There
are many employment-related opportunities available to you in and
beyond high school. Youth Zone is a WorkForce serviced designed
especially for qualified youth ages 14-21. Youth Zone gives young
adults the extra help and attention they need to graduate from high
school and choose a college or career. Youth Zone professionals
prepare you to enter the ‘real world’ by providing access to the tools
needed to succeed in life, such as:
Money
Management: You say you need money? Learn how to earn and save!
Career Opportunities: What job would you like to do and how much
does it pay?
Prepare for College: Are you ready for college? If so, where will
you go and what classes should you take?
Career Planning: You have decided to go to college later, but need
to know what jobs are available for you right now.
Youth Zone Participants Attend
Leadership Training in May!
Over one-hundred Youth Zone participants across the region recently
attended a leadership training session hosted at Gattiland in Lubbock.
These young individuals, ages 14-21, received a full-day of training and
development in the area of business leadership.
